Housekeepers

Aqua Vacation Rentals & Property Management is a locally owned and family-operated business that has proudly welcomed guests to Southwest Michigan since 2011. Our team is made up of skilled and passionate professionals, committed to delivering 5-star service to not only our guests but also our homeowners.

We are looking for motivated, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our Housekeeping team. As a Housekeeper at AVR, you’ll play a key role in creating clean and inviting spaces for our guests and homeowners by ensuring all properties are maintained to the impeccable standards our company is known for.

Compensation:

-- $30-40/hour (higher pay is determined by experience)
-- Paid weekly
-- Schedule- 10:00- 4:00 Friday- Sunday and possible weekdays

Key Responsibilities:

-- Maintain an inviting atmosphere by thoroughly cleaning, organizing, and upkeeping properties to meet AVR’s high-quality standards.
-- Conduct regular inventory checks and walkthroughs to ensure all items are accounted for.
-- Organize and replenish supplies in linen closets to keep them fully stocked.
-- Report missing items, damages, or maintenance concerns to department manager.
-- Restock items on a weekly basis.
-- Attend training sessions to stay informed on company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

-- Previous experience in hospitality or cleaning is preferred but not required
-- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
-- A smartphone capable of downloading and using the Aqua Vacation Rentals scheduling app
-- Access to the internet
-- Must be able to text for communication
-- Professional demeanor with strong self-motivation and attention to detail
-- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
-- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
-- Excellent communication and time-management skills
-- Weekends and holidays required

Grounds Maintenance

Compensation:

  • $20/hour (higher pay based on experience)
  • Paid weekly
  • Schedule: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday–Sunday, with possible weekday shifts

Housekeeping Manager

 Job Summary:


Location: Union Pier, MI (Serving New Buffalo, Union Pier, Lakeside, Harbert, Sawyer, Bridgman, Stevensville and Three Oaks)

Aqua Vacation Rentals seeks an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping and laundry operations for our growing vacation rental company. Currently managing 20-25  properties, this department head role is integral to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

-- Oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring top-quality service across properties.
-- Recruit, train, and manage a team of up to 15-20 seasonal and full-time employees.
--  Implement and revise policies and procedures for efficient operations.
-- Manage systems, inventory, and cost controls.
-- Conduct property inspections and address maintenance needs.
-- Occasionally assist with housekeeping and laundry tasks.
-- Communicate effectively and strategize to maintain organizational goals.
-- Utilize digital systems for entry, communication, and property management.
-- Travel between properties as needed (reliable transportation required).

Qualifications:

-- Prior hospitality experience in a leadership role required.
-- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-- Proficiency with technology and digital systems (e.g., property management systems).
-- Weekend and holiday availability required.
-- Ability to lift and perform physical tasks.

Schedule & Compensation:
